So I wanted to give my house a modern look that accentuated on the natural look of wood. Some people use sheets of 1/4 birch plywood or other kinds of sheets but then your left with seams that you need to cover up. I wanted to avoid those seams because those seams remind me of a camper or a trailer. The goal was to fool myself into thinking that I wasn't living in a trailer ;) I ended up using 1/4 inch interior cedar siding for all but one wall, it looks amazing and smells even better. First thing anyone says when they walk in is how good it smells, which is a huge complement because I look like Ive been riding the rails for the past two years. My biggest wall I did something special to, I needed a nice accent and something to really set the interior off. All and all the siding was a fun and fairly easy process and it didnt take as long as I expected it to take.
